Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 (2) Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council hereby gives notice that no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along part of Bell Lane, Foggathorpe from Foggathorpe House Lane southbound for approximately 150 metres commencing 24th August 2026 @ 08:00 hours until 28th August 2026 @ 16:00 hours to allow ground investigation work, bore holes/trial holes works onHazelbush Drain Bridge.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 21 days, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 5 days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via: Bell Lane, Tottering Lane, Wood Lane, Willitoft Road, Street Lane, A163 Highfield Road, A163 Main Road, Station Road, Wressle CP, Foggathorpe CP, Bubwith CP, Howdenshire Ward
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.
The road will be closed to all traffic without exception and to pedestrians due to the nature of the work.
